“For travellers prioritizing budget above all else in Bridgwater, this guesthouse presents a viable option, although some may find the dated, somewhat worn interiors less appealing. Parking limitations in the vicinity require patience, particularly during peak times. I would suggest opting for a room with a private bathroom to ensure a more comfortable experience.”

double yellow lines worn carpets
The room was clean. That was acceptable.
The on-street parking was not as advertised, it was all double yellow lines. I also tried calling about private parking, but there was NO answer. The carpets in the hallway were quite worn.

Convenient and Pet-Friendly Stopover

convenient check-in kitchen access pet-friendly
I stayed one night on my way to Devon. The room was basic, yet it included access to a garden and a kitchen. The check-in process was contactless, which I found easy and convenient. There were also a few pubs within a short walk from the hotel.
My room had no bathroom toiletries beyond hand soap. I managed but it would have been nice to have a small bottle of shampoo.
Dining
9/10
The location provides easy access to several nearby pubs within a short walking distance. These establishments offer a variety of dining options and beverages seeking local fare. This made it easy to find a spot for dinner.
